I’m Wouter Baustein, a German-born guitar coach, music producer, and founder of Guitar Studio (Dutch) and Guitar Training Studio (English), based in Belgium.
For more than 45 years, music has been part of my daily life. I started behind the piano as a child, began DJing at twelve, and later focused deeply on guitar, songwriting, music production, and coaching.
Today, I help guitar players build better technique, stronger rhythm, clearer practice structure, and measurable progress through personal guitar training, high-performance guitar coaching, and practical guitar books and eBooks.
Guitar Training Studio is not built around random tips, loose YouTube tricks, or casual once-a-week lessons without direction.
My work is built around structure.
You need to know what to practice, why it matters, how to train it, and how to measure whether you are actually improving. That is where most guitar players get stuck. They collect exercises, songs, tabs, videos, and opinions, but they never build a clear system that turns practice into progress.
That is what I help you fix.
I work with guitar players who want serious progress and are willing to train with focus.
This includes beginners who want a strong foundation, intermediate players who feel stuck, and advanced players who need more control, timing, discipline, and direction in their playing.
My coaching is especially useful if you:
want more structure in your guitar practice, need honest feedback, struggle with technique or timing, feel overwhelmed by random online lessons, or want a clear path instead of guessing what to do next.
If you only want comfortable lessons without responsibility, this is probably not the right place. If you want to train seriously and improve with guidance, Guitar Training Studio was built for that.
I studied at Jazz Studio in Antwerp and at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where I focused on guitar, songwriting, and music business.
Over the years, I have worked as a guitarist, music producer, coach, and studio owner. That background shapes how I teach. I do not look at guitar playing as isolated exercises. I connect technique, rhythm, sound, musicality, practice habits, and real-world performance.
My experience as a producer also helps me hear what many guitar players miss: timing, tone, phrasing, dynamics, arrangement, and whether a part actually works in music.
I do not simply move from page 3 to page 4 in a method book.
First, we look at where you are now. Then we define what is blocking your progress. After that, we build a practice structure that matches your level, your goals, and your weak spots.
Depending on what you need, the work can focus on technique, rhythm, timing, chords, picking, strumming, theory, ear training, repertoire, musical control, or performance confidence.
The goal is always the same: clear direction, better practice, and visible progress.
Guitar Training Studio offers two main ways to work with me.
Personal Guitar Training is for players who need structure, feedback, and accountability. Think of it as personal training for guitar. You train with guidance, you stay consistent, and you build better habits instead of practicing randomly. Learn more about Personal Guitar Training
High Performance Guitar Coaching is a more intensive coaching path for players who want to improve their technique, timing, control, and overall performance in a focused period of time.
Both paths are built around the same principle: guitar progress does not come from collecting more information. It comes from training the right things consistently with clear feedback. Many guitar players stay stuck for years because they practice without a plan.
They know pieces of theory. They know some chords. They know some licks. They watch lessons, buy gear, save tabs, and tell themselves they are working on it.
But nothing really changes.
Guitar Training Studio exists to change that.
The goal is simple: help serious guitar players move from confusion to structure, from random practice to focused training, and from knowing what they should do to actually being able to do it.
If you want personal guidance, structured guitar training, and honest feedback, you can explore the coaching options at Guitar Training Studio.
If you are looking for private guitar lessons in Belgium or online guitar coaching worldwide, this is where you start.
