Quick Answer

What Is Beat·Arc?

Beat·Arc is a rhythm game where you listen to short patterns, react, solve the challenge and try to improve your score. It is designed to feel like a game first — while rhythm and timing improve naturally as you keep playing.

Play Beat the challenge
Replay Improve your score

No lessons required: Beat·Arc is built around play, repetition and challenge rather than theory exercises or traditional rhythm drills.

How to Play

Hear It. Build It. Beat It.

Beat·Arc turns rhythm into a simple retro game loop. Listen to the pattern, figure out what you heard, build the answer and keep going. The goal is not to study rhythm — it is to survive, score points and beat your previous run.

01 Listen

Hear the rhythm pattern.

02 Work It Out

Recognize how the pattern is built.

03 Build

Recreate the rhythm on screen.

04 Keep Going

Score points and push the game further.

Classic

Build the Rhythm Yourself

Listen to the pattern and recreate what you heard by placing the correct rhythm blocks into the grid. As the game progresses, the challenge increases and your score keeps climbing.

Puzzle

Put the Pattern Back Together

The rhythm blocks are already there — but in the wrong order. Listen carefully, rearrange them and rebuild the pattern correctly. It is an easy way to jump into the game without needing any theory.

Two game modes, three levels each: Beat·Arc starts simple, but higher tempos, limited lives, combos and scoring give you a reason to keep replaying and improve your run.

Gameplay

Score Higher. Survive Longer. Play Again.

Beat·Arc is built around the kind of simple loop that made classic arcade games hard to put down. Each correct answer keeps the run alive, the tempo can climb and there is always another score to beat.

Five Lives. Make Them Count.

You start with five lives. Mistakes cost you, while correct answers keep the run moving. The longer you survive, the more pressure builds and the more valuable a good run becomes.

Faster Can Mean More Points

Higher tempos can reward you with more points, while combos and progress milestones give you another reason to stay accurate. Beat·Arc keeps pushing you toward one more attempt.

Why Beat·Arc Exists

Rhythm Practice Is Boring. A Game Doesn't Have to Be.

In my experience, rhythm is one of those things people know they should practice — but almost nobody actually wants to practise it. For children especially, traditional rhythm exercises can feel like work almost immediately.

That was the idea behind Beat·Arc: stop presenting rhythm as something that has to be studied. Instead, turn the same skills into a game people simply want to keep playing.

You are not sitting there thinking about rhythm exercises. You are listening, solving a pattern, trying not to lose a life and chasing a better score.

But underneath the game, something useful is happening. You start recognizing rhythmic note values, patterns, timing and rests simply because you need them to play the game successfully.

Want to train those same listening skills in a more focused format? Try Rhythm Hearo for dedicated rhythm recognition and ear training.

The repetition happens naturally. The difficulty can increase. Your ears and sense of timing keep getting challenged — without the experience turning into a lesson.

That is the whole point of Beat·Arc: you play because the game is fun. The rhythm training happens in the background, often without you even noticing that you are practising.
